The Craft Co-Operative
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SNAP in partnership with the Sale Branch of the Country Women's Association has been funded by the Lance Reichstein Foundation to operate a Craft Co-Operative in Sale for 2002.
We officially opened at the CWA rooms, 67D Macarthur Street, Sale on 27 March
where you are welcome to call by on
from 10am to 3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays
to see our displays of Crazy Patchwork and other craftwork and have a chat with us
and join in with us while we work.
Our Latest Project is the Quilt of Understanding - Celebrating Community Connections
Come for one of the Day Courses with the CWA *new*
This project had its genesis in the
Centenary of Federation
SNAP Friendship Quilters
whose page previously occupied this space. Please feel free to check out that project using the link above, but do also call back to watch as we embark on what we hope will be an exciting and rewarding project to bring together a number of groups in our community.
SNAP has also moved to York Street (the Princes Highway) in Sale - please call back soon for further details and a photograph of our new home.
SNAP provides support and recreation options for people with a psychiatric disability in the Shires of Wellington and East Gippsland
